In 2017, Banksy opened The Walled Off Hotel in Bethlehem. Designed as a functioning hotel with rooms curated by the artist, it overlooks the West Bank barrier and calls itself the hotel with “the worst view in the world.” Each room is a gallery, each corner a political statement. The hotel merges hospitality with resistance, encouraging guests to engage with the Israeli–Palestinian conflict in ways no museum or documentary could achieve. It turns daily life into a philosophical confrontation with injustice.
