Biotech’s Iron Lady: The Story of Dr. Zanganeh

Amid professional triumphs, Zanganeh faced a personal health crisis. In 2019, while in France for her father’s surgery, she was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. She underwent surgery, returned to the U.S., and began chemotherapy during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite severe side effects and multiple hospitalizations, she remained focused on her mission to help others battling the disease.
